What to expect at your visit
Eye exam and diagnostic testing
As caring owners you want the very best for your pet. With our state-of-the art equipment and expertise, your pet will receive a complete exam of the eye and the surrounding support structures. Any necessary diagnostic testing will also be performed at this time. We will discuss your pet's problem and all options available including medical and surgical treatments. If surgery or sedation for a procedure is required, a follow-up appointment is planned and preparation for the procedure is discussed.

Surgery
Dr. Stengård is fully committed to your pet’s health and happiness. We are able to offer a full range of surgical procedures including eyelid tumor removal, corneal transplantation, tear gland repositioning and cataract removal surgery with artificial lens implantation. Our surgical team of experts works together to ensure the optimal outcome for our patients. Your pet will be admitted to the hospital in the morning and should be able to go home the same day in the evening.
